Our goal is to ensure you enjoy your time with us.  Please take the time to read over the policies that we have implemented as these will help guarantee that we exceed the expectations of all our guests. Shine is dedicated to providing our guests with personalized beauty and spa services.  If for any reason you are not satisfied with a service, please contact us within two weeks of your appointment.  Your service provider will make any adjustments that do not conflict with your original services, complimentary.

As an AVEDA Concept Salon, we use and recommend only AVEDA products.  Our chemical services can only be guaranteed when you use AVEDA for at-home maintenance.

As our service providers can be booked 4-6 weeks in advance, we recommend that you schedule your appointments before you leave the salon.  This will help guarantee your preferred time and date for your appointments.

We understand that sometimes your schedule may change.  In consideration f other salon guests and our service providers, we ask that you provide us with 24 hour notice if you are unable to keep your appointment.  If
no notice is given you may be charged a 25% cancellation fee.  If for any reason you are delayed for your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible.  While we aim to be flexible, if your delay conflicts with another appointment, we will ask that you reschedule your appointment.

To maintain our atmosphere at Shine and in consideration of other guests, we ask that you please turn off your mobile devices upon arrival.  If it is necessary for you to have it on, we do ask that it is in silent mode.

For safety reasons, children are not permitted in the salon/spa area unless receiving services.

If you are unsatisfied with service or product, please notify us within 10 days and we will return it for store credit.

In order to ensure the best possible service please be here at least 5 minutes before your appointment and if you are more than 15 minutes late, there is a possibility your appointment will need to be rescheduled.

Payment Options

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Cash or Check for payment of your services.  We do not have the capability of including gratuity on credit cards; we apologize for any inconvenience that this causes.

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in service prices.

Prom Appointments

Prom appointments must be guaranteed with a credit card.  If a credit card is unavailable, the appointment may be guaranteed with a deposit in the form of check or cash for 50% of the cost of the appointment.  There
is a strict 24 hour cancellation policy.  If the appointment is not cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the appointment, you will be responsible for the total cost of the appointment.  Your credit card will not be charged unless the 24 hour cancellation policy is not honored.

Return Policy

Products may be returned with a receipt for a full refund within 14 days of purchase.  The refund will be given in the same form as the product was purchased.  Returns without a receipt may be exchanged for another or returned for store credit within 14 days of purchase.  We reserve the right to refuse product returns without verification that they were bought at a legitimate AVEDA vendor.

Allergies

AVEDA products are derived from pure plant and flower essences.  If for any reason you have an allergic reaction, you may return the product for a full refund with receipt.  Without a receipt, we will afford you salon credit which may be used towards any salon service or retail purchase.  We will ask that you fill out a form to return to AVEDA to inform them of the reaction.
